Time Space Wraps

Ayu Suci Warakanyaka - Interior Architecture Design 5 - Undergraduate Program

The ‘Space Warps’ transformed the children growing ability that happened like the glimpse of light into 3 dimensional spaces. The aim was to create a ‘fast journey’, of the impossible, which stimulates childrens’ curiosity and imagination while they are experiencing the ‘future’ space in this toy store. It was created through combination of polygonal shape that has characteristic of being  irregular, centered and  sharp. This composition reflects childrens’ experience through the space of the future.

Every area in this store is designed with distinct  themes, regarding children’s needs. The interior design is generated from the engagement of spatial intervention, the goods displayed and lighting design.
