On February 2015, two teams representing University of Indonesia suceeded in bringing home two awards in architectural design competition Archi Ray (the Existence of Traditional Indonesian Architecture), held by MA Faculty of Engineering Universitas Hassanudin. First place was won by Kanigara Ubaszti Putra A’12 and Bangkit Mandela A’12, in the first category of this event, themed ‘Modernizing Traditional Architecture’. The UI team also managed to win second place in the second category, ‘Multifunctional Furniture Design Competition’, comprised of Shintya Wahyu A. AI’12 and Kanigara Ubaszti A’12.
