Dr Francesco Mancini joined Curtin University on May 2015; he currently teaches in the Department of Architecture/Interior Architecture. He was Adjunct Professor in Architecture at the University of Roma Tre (Italy) where he also served as a design consultant. In 1998-99 Mancini taught with internationally recognized architect and educator Peter Eisenman at The Cooper Union School of Architecture. He also taught design at the University of Waterloo, at The Pratt Institute and at ISU College of Design. He published the book Spacing, an anthology of Peter Eisenman’s essays, and Buildings for Spectacle: Evolution of a Building Type with Mario Panizza. Mancini holds a PhD from the University of Florence.
