The Eco-city Live Project 2018 focuses on investigating planning and development issues and subsequently developing a set of policy recommendations and interventions that promote the transition of a major urban agglomeration to become a more sustainable (Low-Carbon, Smart) Eco-city. The learning outcomes for the module that the field work is linked to focus broadly ‘on the transition of a city/place to become more sustainable’, i.e. move to become an ‘Eco-city’. There will be three main topics divided into six research focus groups to develop their ideas.
OPEN RECRUITMENT for workshop participants:
- architectural or civil-environmental engineering students, bachelor (4th year) or graduate (1st year)
- comfortable in speaking English
- urban enthusiasts
- eager to collaborate in the diverse environment
- love to explore cityscape
INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS:
The workshop will require full-day attendances from all participants. Please be mindful of this requirement when you are applying for this workshop.
