Jacqui Alexander is a lecturer in Design and History and Theory in the Department of Architecture at Monash University. Besides actively work as an interdisciplinary practitioner working across architecture, spatial practice and media, she is also a director of Alexander Sheridan Architecture, a freelance writer and an editor. jacqui is founding editor of Melbourne and Paris-based independent architecture journal POST Magazine, which won the 2009 Bates Smart Award for Architecture in the Media (VIC).
Jacqui’s current research investigates the architectural and urban implications of the sharing economy. Recent works include the Supershared installation in collaboration with Sibling Architecture for RMIT Design Hub’s Occupied exhibition (2016).
