Using the same topic and research questions in 2011, in 2012 UI-RIHN collaboration research focused on multi-family residential district of Rusun Kemayoran. We conduct on site research to access precise evaluation on the macro and micro condition of built environment (public open spaces, public equipment and thermal comfort of private houses). We also try to probe the hypothesis on socio-economic situation and daily behaviors through in-depth observations and interviews with rusun residents. We intend to make multifaceted proposals for developing desirable design of multi-family housing using various cognitive research and design methods. This study is a comprehensive exploration process as a basis for designing system of multi-family housing that will be incongruent with the future lifestyle.
