Ranu Wijaya, was born in Jakarta on November 1959. He graduated from Architecture of Universitas Indonesia in 1989. Currently he works as principal architect and president director in PT. KBA Architect. During his career, he had invited as speaker on various national seminars regarding environment and architecture. Particularly in this lecture series, he is invited to share his abundant knowledge in the topic of “BATA” (Brick) and how it could be used as medium in exploring creativity, technology and arts. The lecture will cover the brick in various perspectives;  from the conception, statement and paradigm of the bricks in architecture.
